Joplin woman injured in head-on crash on Coyote Drive

 A Joplin woman was injured in a three-vehicle collision 6:15 p.m. Thursday on Coyote Drive, one mile south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Ford Edge driven by Deeann L. Starr, 37, Joplin, struck a 2017 Lexus RX350 driven by Sharon K. Haight, 73, Joplin, head on, then struck a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Barbara E. Schaffer, 49, Quapaw, Oklahoma, in the side.

Haight was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
