According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1999 Ford F250 driven by Robert A. Garrett, 33, Joplin, blew the front left tire causing Garrett to lose control. The vehicle left the roadway, struck a culvert and went through a fence.
Garrett was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
