...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible. Widespread rainfall amounts of one to three inches are
  expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, south central, and
  southwest Missouri, including the following counties, in central
  Missouri, Camden, Hickory, Maries, Miller and Pulaski. In east
  central Missouri, Phelps. In south central Missouri, Dent, Howell,
  Oregon, Shannon and Texas. In southwest Missouri, Barry,
  Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Jasper, Laclede,
  Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, Ozark, Polk, Stone, Taney, Webster and
  Wright.

* WHEN...Through this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
  in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be
  flooded.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
