Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 6:30 p.m. Thursday on Schifferdecker Avenue, one mile north of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Honda Element driven by Mariah N. Burns, 27, Webb City, traveled off the left side of the roadway, then back onto the roadway where it struck a 2019 Toyota Tundra driven by Charles R. Botkin, 41, Galena, Kansas.
Burns was treated for moderate injuries and an 8-year-old boy who was a passenger in her vehicle was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Joplin.
