2/16/2022 Officer took a report of theft on NW 1st Ln. Investigation continues.

2/16/2022 Officers were called to NW 1st for a report of shoplifting. One person was arrested at the scene for stealing over $750 (shoplifting) and resisting arrest. He was then transported to the Barton County Jail.

2/19/2022 Officer was dispatched to a past tense theft in the 200 block of West 12th. Investigation continues.

2/19/2022 Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West 12th for a report of firearms being pointed from a vehicle at a residence. Officer saw vehicle matching description and activated lights to make traffic stop. The vehicle rapidly accelerated and began pursuit through city streets, into the county, back into the city and back into the county where it was then turned over to the Barton County Sheriff’s Dept.
