(From the Galena Police Department)

The passenger of the vehicle, 38-year-old Brandi King, also from Galena, was found to have 3 active warrants out of Cherokee County.

A Cherokee County Sheriff's Office - Kansas K9 was deployed and alerted on the car. During a search of the vehicle, officers located illegal narcotics and paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Parker and King were arrested for their outstanding warrants and transported to the Cherokee County Jail. Additional charges are being submitted on Parker for possession with intent to distribute, drug paraphernalia, driving without a valid license, no registration, no insurance and displaying an altered or fictitious license plate.
