(From the City of Joplin)Beginning tomorrow morning, Wednesday, Oct. 26, Joplin Avenue will be closed between 5th and 6th Streets to allow Missouri American Water to repair the street following a major water leak.
The road is expected to be closed for three days. Businesses in the area will be open as will the downtown parking lots.
Drivers are urged to use extreme caution in the work area. The City appreciates your patience as these utility repairs occur.
