Joplin Schools receives $10,000 grant for technology improvements

Joplin Schools recently received $10,000 in grant funds from Pilot Travel Centers in support of district technology improvements.

Joplin Schools Director of Technology Eric Pitcher said the district intends to use the significant gift in two ways: to upgrade storage capacity for student-created audio and visual files through JHS and FTC programs; and to help begin the district’s new esports team, which will allow our students to compete for the first time in this massively growing industry.
