Joplin man injured in motorcycle accident

A Joplin man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 1:25 a.m. today on Greenwood Drive two miles southwest of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Douglas E. Alexius, 46, Joplin, skidded on the roadway and overturned.

Alexius was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
