Seneca, Neosho children injured in ATV-car collision

Two children were injured in a two-vehicle accident 6:09 p.m. Saturday on Route CC at Nettle Drive six miles west of Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a Kymco Mongoose ATV, driven by a 12-year-old Neosho girl attempted to cross the roadway and pulled into the path of a 2019 GMC Sierra driven by James L. Herre, 68, Joplin.

The girl and an 11-year-old Seneca boy were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Joplin.
