A Carthage woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 8:10 a.m. today on Fairview Road one mile west of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Hyundi Veloster driven by Margaret M. Smith, 41, Carthage, failed to stop for a stop sign, raveled off the roadway and struck an embankment causing the vehicle to overturn.
Smith was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Joplin.
