Diamond native assigned to Highway Patrol Troop A

Captain Steven V. Wilhoit, commanding officer Troop A, Lee’s Summit, is pleased to announce the assignment of three new troopers within the Troop A area. The new troopers were members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 115th Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy on December 22, 2022. The new troopers will report for duty, in their respective assignments, on January 9, 2022.

Trooper Alexander C. Hunolt, a native of Memphis, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 5, which serves the citizens of Ray and Carroll counties. Trooper Hunolt graduated from Scotland County R-1 High School in Memphis, Missouri.








Trooper Colten J. O’Hara, a native of Pierce City, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 9, which serves the citizens of Lafayette County. Trooper O’Hara graduated from Pierce City High School in Pierce City, Missouri. He holds an Associates of Arts in criminal justice from Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri.

Trooper Ty R. Williams, a native of Diamond, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 15, which serves the citizens of Henry County. Trooper Williams graduated from Diamond High School in Diamond, Missouri. Trooper Williams is married to Kelsy (Artherton) and they have three children; Bentley, Peyton, and Gracelynn.

Too many people die in traffic crashes each year in Missouri. The choices you make when you’re behind the wheel matter. Make good choices, so you’ll never have to say, “If I could just go back …”
