A Purcell woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 1:25 p.m. Sunday on County Road 197 one mile east of Carterville.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Buick Terraza driven by Lisa J. Bryant, 55, Purcell, traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Bryant was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Joplin.
