According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Dodge 2500 driven by Alva F. Bailey, 47, Joplin, failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a 2018 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Stephen L. Reed, 72, Joplin.
Reed was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
