Granby residents injured in collision on 60

Two Granby residents were injured in a two-vehicle collision 6 a.m. today on U. S. 60 in Granby.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2022 Nissan Altima driven by Katherine R. Starr, 53, Granby, was attempting a U turn and was struck by a 2020 Peterbilt driven by Edward L. Shannon, 66, McCune, Kansas.

Starr and a passenger in her vehicle, Steven K. Starr, 52, Granby, were treated for minor and moderate injuries, respectively, at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
