Five people injured in three-vehicle accident east of Diamond

Five people were injured in a three-vehicle accident 8:25 p.m.. Saturday on Route J three miles east of Diamond.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Acura MDX driven by Brian J. Ordonez-Reyes, 35, Neosho, crossed the center line and struck a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Amy Outt, 58, Reeds, causing the Outt vehicle to hit a 2002 Chevrolet Colorado driven by a 16-year-old Neosho boy.








The Colorado ran off the roadway and hit a fence.

Outt was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

The 16-year-old driver and three passengers in his vehicle, a 15-year-old Neosho boy, a 16-year-old Goodman boy and a 16-year-old Granby girl, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman Neosho.
