A Joplin man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 8:45 a.m. Saturday on Route V, four and a half miles west of Diamond.
According to the Highway Patrol, a 2002 Dodge Ram driven by Rudolph E. Batchelder, 58, Joplin, traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
Batchelder was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Joplin.
