A Joplin teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident 2:13 p.m. today on Elder Road a mile and a half southeast of Diamond.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Buick Regal driven by a 16-year-old Joplin boy traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a fence, overturned and struck a tree.
The boy was flown to Mercy Springfield to be treated for serious injuries.
