According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Nissan Xterra driven by Juan Lopez Mendez, 23, Carthage, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a small three and a creek embankment and overturned.
Mendez was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
