A Neosho man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 4:25 p.m. today on MO 86 one mile south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2022 Harley Davidson Trike driven by Jay W. Gardner, 69, Neosho, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a road sign and a utility pole.
Gardner's death was the fourth this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
