(From the Joplin Police Department)The Joplin Police Department has been receiving reports of Southwest Missouri Bank account holders receiving scam text messages.
While some messages may be legitimate fraud alerts, others (such as the example below) could lead to your financial accounts becoming compromised.
Fraudulent activity on your accounts needs to be reported to you financial institution and your local law enforcement agency if you become a victim of this scam. Be cautious, think twice, and protect your sensitive personal identifying information.
