MSSU activities for the week of January 30

The Dreams Come True Dance Club will present the “One City, One Dance” showcase at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, in Taylor Performing Arts Center at Missouri Southern State University.
The showcase will also feature performances by Ovations Dance Studio and the Carthage High School dance team. The free event is open to all ages.
Other activities include a photo booth, a Career Coach luncheon and screenings of Marvel’s “Doctor Strange.”
Monday, Jan. 30
Around the World Photo Booth: 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Billingsly Student Center. Students can have their pictures taken in a variety of global destinations; presented by the Campus Activities Board.
Tuesday, Jan. 31
Increasing Profitability Through Data Analysis: 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Plaster School of Business. Workshop participants will learn key elements of comparing their current financial data with industry standard financial data. To register, contact the Small Business & Technology Development Center at 417-625-3128.
Wednesday, Feb. 1
Stuff a Lion – PJ Edition: 10:30 a.m., Billingsly Student Center. Students can create a pajama-clad stuffed lion.
Career Coach Series Leadership Luncheon: 12:20-12:50 p.m., Room 309 of Billingsly Student Center. The series features industry professionals speaking on a variety of topics to help you succeed in the workplace. Presented by Career Services, lunch will be provided.
Thursday, Feb. 2
“Doctor Strange”: 2:30 and 6:30 p.m., Phelps Theatre in Billingsly Student Center. Free to the campus community.
Friday, Feb. 3

Saturday, Feb. 4
Women’s basketball vs. Pittsburg State: 1 p.m., Leggett & Platt Athletic Center.

“Everything is Sacred, Nothing is Sacred and Other Modern Allegories”: Through Feb. 15 in Spiva Art Gallery. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
