After 36 years with the Carthage Police Department, School Resource Officer/D.A.R.E. Officer Kevin Provins is retiring on January 31st. The City is holding a retirement reception that day from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Carthage Junior High School 714 S. Main St. (enter at door 15, west side near the south end of the building).
Congratulations, Officer Provins! You will be missed by the police department, the City and especially the kids who have been so used to you being around for many years. Enjoy your retirement!
