According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Chevrolet 2500 driven by Randy G. Griffith, 32, Carthage, failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a tree and overturned.
Griffith was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
