On Monday November 11, 2019, at 12:43 PM, the Joplin Fire Department responded to a report of a commercial structure fire at 1316 E Broadway St, aka Little Pigs BBQ.
The first crew arrived at 10:47 PM to find a single-story commercial structure with smoke showing and flames coming from the cooking area. Crews entered the structure and extinguished the fire. They remained on scene until 00:57 AM Tuesday the 12th.
The Joplin Fire Department responded with 6 units and 17 personnel. The fire department was assisted by METS Ambulance Service and the Joplin Police Department. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighting personnel.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Can you say arson. They treated the help like crap not paying them hollaring at them. I feel bad for the help that was left high and dry.
ReplyDeleteI agree! They would treat staff badly! Loved the food, but found an even better place that is even better! Staff and owners are friendly and helpful at the new place we tried!!
