Two arrested, heroin, cocaine, weapons confiscated following Joplin Police SWAT executes search warrant

On January 16th, 2020, the Joplin Police Department SWAT team served a search warrant at 805 S. Grand Avenue for the JPD investigations bureau.

During the search warrant multiple items of narcotics, paraphernalia, and a stolen firearm was located. 

The following arrests were made in connection to the search warrant. Rico Hudson, 42 years old of Joplin, MO, (top photo) was arrested and charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. 

Rashad Jackson, 24 years old of Joplin, MO was also taken into custody during the search warrant. Jackson was arrested and charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.

Recovered in the residence during the search of the home was heroin, cocaine, and various marijuana/THC substances. Also located during the search were two handguns one which was reported stolen out of the city of Joplin.
