On 1-7-20 at approximately 2:00 PM., Jasper County Deputies responded to the area of North Francis and Spring River in reference to a report of a robbery that had just occurred.
The victim, 34-year old male from Carthage, reported that as he was walking when three males approached him asking for money.
When he told them no, he was assaulted and they took his wallet. The victim had some minor injuries and did not need medical attention.
The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when possible.
