Autopsy: Jopiin man died of single gunshot wound to the torso, JPD investigation continues

An autopsy has been completed on Gregory A. Coble, 36 years old, Joplin who died of a single gunshot wound to his torso.

The female resident of 1302 S. Roosevelt Ave identified as Rebekkah Gage 36 years old of Joplin, MO has been released from the hospital. The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made in this incident.

Update 2:

Gregory A. Coble, 36 years old of Joplin, MO died at a local hospital after being transported from 1302 S. Roosevelt Ave. 








Coble was not a resident of 1302 S. Roosevelt Ave, he was an aquaintance of a resident. This is an ongoing investigation. Ipdates will be provided as they become available. An autopsy will be scheduled at a future date.

Update 1:

During the incident at 1302 S. Roosevelt Ave, a resident was shot, and a suspect was also shot. Both have been transported to local hospitals for treatment. 

The Joplin Police Department is investigating and seeking other persons that may be involved. If you have any information about this incident or other persons involved, you are asked to contact the Joplin Police Department at 417-623-3131.

On February 3rd, 2020 JPD officers were dispatched to 1302 S. Roosevelt Ave in reference to burglary with gun shots fired. 

At this time, two persons have been transported to local hospitals with gunshot wounds. JPD investigators on are scene investigating.
