According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Jeep Sport driven by Sam L. Brown, 17, Miller, failed to yield and was struck by a 2016 Ford Escape driven by Travis J. Trent, 24, Lockwood.
A passenger in the Trent vehicle, Racheal Mabary, 34, Lockwood, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
