Newsmakers program on economic development to feature Toby Teeter

The economic development being spearheaded by the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce is the focus of the next edition of “Newsmakers” on KGCS-TV.

Toby Teeter, JACC president, sits down with host and KGCS general manager, Judy Stiles, to talk about programs that are in the works. Tony Robyn, director of the MOKAN Partnership also discusses regional efforts.








The show will begin airing nightly at 5:30 p.m. the week of February 9. It will also air on Saturday, February 15 at 5:30 a.m. on KOAM-TV – and is currently posted on the station’s YouTube channel, “KGCS Missouri Southern.”

KGCS programming can be seen on channel 21. It is also available on regional cable television systems such as Sparklight, Mediacom and Suddenlink Communications. The station operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University.
