At approximately 3:25 PM, 02-13-20 Jasper County deputies were dispatched to 10487 County Rd. 270 in reference to an individual that had been shot. It was determined to individuals inside the residence were involved in an altercation that led to one of them being shot.
The subject that had been shot was transported to Mercy Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The individuals involved in this incident are acquaintances and are being interviewed at this time. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
