An investigation conducted by the Barton County Sheriff's Office has ended with one subject in Custody on Forcible Rape and Forcible Sodomy charges.
On 07-30-2020 a subject that deputies had been looking for was reported to be in the Golden City area.
Deputy Sheriff A. J. Eaves was able to located the subject and detain him at an address in Golden City. He was transported back to the Barton County Sheriff's Office for further investigation.
At the conclusion of the investigation reports have been sent to the Barton County Prosecutor Mike Smalley and he has filed formal Criminal Charges.
Arrested is Jason R. Wilson, age 36, of Pittsburg Kansas. He is incarcerated on a no bond warrant and is in the Barton County Jail.
