According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Joseph L. Stott, 38, Carterville, traveled off the roadway and overturned.
Stott and a passenger, Amanda L. Stott, 31, Carterville, were treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Springfield.
