Lamar woman suffers serious injuries in I-49 crash

 Two Lamar residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 11:30 p.m. Saturday on I-49, four miles south of Lamar.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Ford F250 driven by Moses R. Olivas, 18, Lamar, ran off the left side of the road and overturned, crossing the median and coming to rest in the northbound lanes of I-49.

Olivas was treated for minor injuries and a passenger, Leah M. Corchado, 37, Lamar, for serious injuries at Mercy Joplin.
