(From the Joplin Police Department)The Joplin Police Department has been investigating many cases of counterfeit money being used throughout the city to purchase goods and services from local businesses and from persons selling goods from Online Marketplace platforms, Garage Sales, and other selling platforms.
Please be vigilant and check the cash bills before exchanging goods or services.
