Expect traffic delays, lane closures on 32nd Street for next two weeks

TRAFFIC ALERT: Expect Lane Closures, Traffic Delays on 32nd St. in Joplin for Paving June 30-July 15

Where: 32nd Street (Route FF) at Hammons Blvd. in Joplin

When: Thursday, June 30- Friday, July 15

What: Contractor crews laying asphalt on 32nd Street (Route FF) and Hammons Blvd.

Traffic Impact

Thursday, June 30 – 8 a.m.-7 p.m., contractor cr ews will CLOSE eastbound right lane on 32nd to pave right turn lane and Hammons Blvd.

July 5-8 – 8 a.m.-7 p.m., contractor crews will CLOSE eastbound right turn lane on 32nd to pave Hammons Blvd. to 32nd St.

When that work is completed, contractor crews will CLOSE east- and westbound left lanes on 32nd from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. through Friday, July 8 to pave center turn lane

East- and westbound 32nd right lanes OPEN to traffic where crews are working

All four lanes of 32nd OPEN during nighttime hours

Week of July 11, contractor crews will add stripes and pavement markings

Project expected to be completed by Friday, July 15

No signed detour

Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching work zone

Drivers should find alternate routes
