Five people injured, two airlifted to Cox South following collision near Lockwood

Five people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 5:05 p.m. Friday on U. S. 160, three miles west of Lockwood.

According to the Highway Patrol, a 2022 Ford F350 driven by Bodie C. Emmons, 43, Fairfield, Texas, failed to stop for a stop sign and was struck in the side by a 2017 GMC Acadia driven by Amanda R. Williams, 34, Greenfield.









Two passengers in the Williams vehicle, a 13-year-old Greenfield boy and Susan M. Dodd, 60, Stockton, were airlifted to Cox South, Springfield, to be treated for serious injuries.

Williams and a passenger in the Emmons vehicle, a 5-year-old Greenfield boy, were treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

Another passenger in the Emmons vehicle, a 4-year-old Greenfield girl, was treated for minor injuries at Freeman.
