(From the Joplin Fire Department)At 6:20 PM, Missouri State Water Patrol divers recovered a body in Shoal Creek.
The Missouri State Water Patrol will release more information following the notification of the next of kin.
The Joplin Fire Department appreciates all of the assistance provided today by the Joplin Police Department, Newton County Ambulance District, Redings Mill Fire Protection District, Missouri Department of Conservation and Missouri Water Patrol.
