Two Galena, Kansas, residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident 12:50 p.m. today on Route 66, a quarter of a mile east of Galena.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1996 Ford Explorer driven by Shasta R. Jenks, 44, Galena, pulled into the path of a 2017 Cadillac ATS driven by Ashley L. Bright, 28, Galena.
Bright and a passenger in her vehicle, a 10-year-old girl were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
