City of Joplin opens tree limb drop off for residents following high winds

Due to the extremely high winds over the weekend, many residents have down limbs and branches to dispose of. 

To help with this, the City’s Public Works will open the Free Tree Limb Drop Off Site this week, starting today, Monday, July 17. It will be open from 8:30 a.m. -2 p.m. today through Friday, July 21.

 

The drop-off site is located at 1702 North Schifferdecker Avenue, just about a half-mile north of Belle Center Road on the west side of Schifferdecker.

Another option for residents is to bundle limbs and branches cut to 4-foot maximum length and place them at curbside for pick up on their regularly scheduled trash service day.
