Joplin Police officer recognized for stopping 111 drunk drivers last year

Officer Hayden Hinkle was recognized for his work at this year’s Law Enforcement Traffic Safety Advisory Council (LETSAC) Conference at Lake Of The Ozarks. 

Officer Hinkle stopped 111 offenders for driving while intoxicated last year, making our roadways drastically safer. 

Officer Hinkle began his career with Joplin Police Department in January 2019 and joined the full-time DWI traffic unit in December 2021. 

Officer Hinkle is a certified Drug Recognition Expert and is passionate about DWI enforcement. Thank you Officer Hinkle for your dedication and willingness to make Joplin safer.
