At approximately 4:15 AM, 09-13-24, Jasper County Sheriff’s deputies received a report of a shooting that occurred on West Seventh Street approximately a quarter mile east of State Line.
It was reported that an individual driving eastbound on Seventh Street, pulled alongside another vehicle and began firing a handgun at them.
The passenger in the vehicle was struck by a bullet and subsequently taken to the hospital.
