(From the Webb City R-7 School District)We are thrilled to announce that Webb City High School senior Nina Nguyen has been selected as a Semifinalist in the 70th Annual National Merit Scholarship Competition.
About 16,000 students nationwide were selected as Semifinalists, out of about 1.3 million. The nationwide pool of Semifinalists represents less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors.
Nina Nguyen is the daughter of Ha Nguyen and Vuong Nguyen. She is active in theater productions, show choir, and debate as well as community service and tutoring. Congratulations on academic excellence, Nina!
