Three people were injured in a three-vehicle accident 11:17 a.m. today on MO 86 in Newtonia.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2017 Subaru Imprezza driven by Cung Hu, 54, Pineville, failed to yield and pulled into the path of a 2007 Ford F250 driven by Tommy S. Webb, 45, Stark City.
The Webb vehicle struck the Hu vehicle on the driver's side causing the Hu vehicle to travel off the roadway and hit a 2018 Kia Sportage in a private parking lot.
Hu and a passenger in his vehicle, Cung L. Lauttlai, 47, Stella, were treated for serious injuries and a second passenger, Man Par, 48, Stella, for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
