A Carthage man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 8:10 a.m. today on W. Fairview Avenue, one mile west of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1993 Freightliner driven by a 43-year-old Carthage man experienced an equipment failure, traveled off the roadway striking multiple signs, returned to the roadway and overturned.
The driver was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.
