Joplin man injured in crash caused by wet road conditions
A Joplin man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 11:25 a.m. Wednesday on I-44 one mile east of Mount Vernon.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2019 Dodge 2500 driven by a 29-year-old Joplin man went out of control on the wet highway, traveled off the roadway and struck a culvert.
The Joplin man was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Aurora.
