(From the City of Joplin) Main Street will be closed from 4th to 7th Street from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, September 20. The closure is for a community event hosted by James River Church, Joplin.
East/west traffic along 7th Street will continue, although northbound turns onto Main Street will be restricted.
During this time, drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes and use caution when driving near the closed areas of Main Street. The City appreciates your cooperation.
This closure allows time for the organization’s event, as well as set-up and tear down time of their stage and other elements. For event information, please visit their Facebook page or contact the church.
