Route 160 CLOSED in Dade Co. for Culvert Replacement Beginning Sept. 22
Contractor crews are set to CLOSE U.S. Route160 east of Lockwood between Pine Street and Dade County Road 81 from Monday, September 22 through Monday, October 6 to replace a culvert, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

Route 160 CLOSED between Pine Street in Lockwood and Dade County Road 81 beginning at 7 a.m., Monday, September 22 and reopening to traffic on Monday, October 6
Drivers will have access to driveways and entrances on either side of the culvert, but will not be able to travel over the culvert
Traffic will be directed along a signed detour using Missouri routes 97, 96 & 39
Drivers should seek alternate routes
Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the closure
Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays could alter the work schedule.
This work is part of a larger project to resurface and improve sections of Route 160 and Missouri Route 97 in Barton, Dade and Lawrence counties. For more information, go to the project website here.
