(From McDonald County R-1 School District)Today, students from McDonald County High School’s Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society honored the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001.
They placed 100 American flags in the circle in front of the high school—each one representing 30 victims of the terrorist attacks.
This powerful display is a reminder of the importance of remembering, honoring, and teaching future generations about the sacrifices made and the resilience shown on that day, 24 years ago.
