An Oklahoma man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 4:30 p.m. Thursday on Highway 43, two miles south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado driven by Kayla R. Laughlin, 26, Joplin, was stopped in traffic and was struck in the rear by a 2000 Ford Escort driven by Robert M. Long, 34, Wyandotte, Oklahoma.
Long was taken to Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, with moderate injuries.
